In a medical text, a mistake can have serious consequences. I check terms against official sources and process health data only to carry out the translation.

What I translate
- medical record extracts, discharge summaries, patient histories;
- test and laboratory result reports;
- medical device instructions for use, labels and on-screen text;
- clinical trial protocols, informed consent forms and inspection reports.
How I work
Medical device terminology follows EU legislation (Regulation (EU) 2017/745). Manufacturers’ documents are translated with their own translation memories and termbases, so a new revision stays consistent with the previous ones.
Health data is a special category of personal data. I process it only to carry out the translation, securely and for no longer than necessary, as set out in the privacy policy.
Price and turnaround
Prices start at €9 per page incl. VAT for private clients and €10 per page excl. VAT for companies (1 page = 1,700 characters without spaces). The minimum order is €15 incl. VAT. A medical record extract usually takes 1–2 working days, or the same working day with a 50% surcharge.
